Business identity
This Privacy Policy is provided by Daniel Chen Jun Wang, a sole proprietor who operates the Adherely service. In this policy, “Adherely,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Daniel Chen Jun Wang.
1. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to Adherely websites, the Adherely Daily Check-In SMS Program, product-use check-ins, rewards, refill notices, and related support. It applies whether you enroll directly on our website or reach the same enrollment page from a QR code or post-purchase link.
You may use Adherely's public web-only daily check-in without a mobile number, account, purchase, or SMS consent. That page stores its check-in dates only in your browser unless you separately choose an SMS enrollment.
It also applies to merchant accounts, trials, dashboards, connected stores, support, and paid service. A merchant may have its own privacy obligations to its customers. Where Adherely processes customer data on a merchant's instructions, the Data Processing Addendum applies.
2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, including your first name, mobile number, your separate informational and optional marketing SMS consent choices, the date and source of those choices, reminder preferences, timezone, program choices, and support requests.
When you participate, we collect message delivery events, replies, opt-out and re-subscription requests, product-use check-ins, streak activity, reward activity, and refill interactions.
We may collect limited technical information needed to operate and secure the service, such as browser, device, and request information.
For merchants, we collect account identifiers supplied through our authentication provider, store domain and connection details, encrypted integration credentials, product and program configuration, scan-code records, support communications, and trial or billing records. Connected commerce events are minimized before storage; Adherely does not use an imported order as permission to send recurring SMS messages.
3. How we use information
We use information only to operate and support the program, including sending requested daily check-ins, recording progress, calculating streaks and product remaining, providing milestone rewards and refill notices, honoring messaging preferences, responding to support requests, preventing misuse, and improving service reliability.
We use merchant information to authenticate users, connect and secure stores, provide dashboards and analytics, operate configured programs, support merchants, administer trials and authorized paid plans, enforce agreements, investigate incidents, and comply with law. We do not use merchant customer data for unrelated advertising.
4. Mobile information and messaging consent
SMS participation is optional. Declining SMS does not prevent a purchase, account creation, transaction, or use of Adherely's web-only daily check-in. Informational and marketing SMS choices use separate checkboxes that are unchecked by default.
Creating an account, using Adherely, or accepting the Terms of Service does not provide SMS consent. You may choose “Continue without SMS” or submit with SMS unchecked to use the web-only check-in without a phone number or confirmation code. Daily-SMS subscribers may separately choose additional marketing texts; marketing consent is not required for daily reminders.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
All categories of information described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer mobile numbers, mobile information, SMS opt-in data, or messaging consent to third parties, affiliates, lead generators, or other organizations for marketing or promotional purposes.
Messaging consent is specific to the Adherely Daily Check-In SMS Program and Adherely as the identified sender. Consent is not transferable to another business, affiliate, or sender. A different sender must collect separate consent for its own messaging program.
5. Service providers and required disclosures
We use service providers such as hosting, database, security, telecommunications, and mobile network providers solely to operate and support the program on our behalf. These providers may process information only to perform contracted services for Adherely. They may not use mobile information or messaging consent for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, and the security of the service. These disclosures do not permit any recipient to use mobile information or messaging consent for marketing or promotional purposes.
The operational service providers currently used by Adherely are identified on our Subprocessors page. They receive only the information needed for their contracted role.
6. SMS program disclosures
The Adherely Daily Check-In SMS Program sends recurring automated informational product-use reminders, progress updates, and support messages. If you separately opt in to marketing SMS, Adherely may also send reward notices, discount offers, and refill promotions.
If you choose SMS enrollment, Twilio Verify sends one phone-ownership confirmation before recurring enrollment is created. That one-time code is delivered separately from the recurring A2P campaign and confirms ownership of the number you chose for SMS.
Informational message frequency is up to one message per day plus occasional service messages. Optional marketing message frequency varies, up to four marketing messages per month. Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to cancel at any time. Reply HELP for help or email support@adherely.co. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See the program Terms of Service.
7. Retention and security
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to provide the program, maintain consent and opt-out records, satisfy legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system is completely secure.
Verification challenges are generally removed after one day. Message bodies and copied hub tokens are redacted from terminal delivery records after seven days, and delivery-callback inbox records are generally removed after 90 days. Consent, opt-out, check-in, reward, order-attribution, and security records may be kept longer when necessary to provide the service, prevent replay or fraud, document consent, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations.
Our Security page describes how to report a suspected vulnerability or privacy incident.
8. Your choices
Reply STOP to end SMS messages at any time. You may contact us to ask about, correct, or delete personal information, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.
To request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information, email privacy@adherely.co. Tell us whether you are a consumer or merchant and identify the relevant store or program. Do not email passwords, payment-card details, full bearer hub links, or other account secrets.
We will verify the requester's identity and authority before disclosing or deleting information. A verified deletion request covers active records and connected operational systems, and we will also instruct applicable service providers where required. We may retain narrowly limited records when required by law or needed to document consent and opt-out, prevent abuse or replay, settle transactions, or establish legal claims. We will explain a material retention exception in our response.
When Adherely acts as a processor for a merchant, a consumer request may need to be handled by that merchant as the controller. We will route the request appropriately and assist the merchant under the Data Processing Addendum.
9. Children
Adherely is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
10. International processing
Adherely and its service providers may process information in the United States and in other locations where they operate. Where law requires a transfer mechanism or additional safeguards, Adherely will use an appropriate contractual or legal mechanism.
11. Updates and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. The updated date above shows the latest revision. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to privacy@adherely.co.
